If you work with a team on RapidValue solutions, collaboration is important. In RapidValue, you can use ownership and statuses on RapidValue elements to help you collaborate.


User User Change owner Change owner Use ownership to indicate which user is responsible for which record. Procedure 1. You can change ownership for any RapidValue element. As an example, in this task guide, you change the ownership of a flow. To do so, click Business process modeling. 2. Click Flows. 3. In the list, find and select the desired record. 4. Click Owner to open the drop dialog. 5. In the list, find and select the desired record. 6. Click OK. 7. Close the page. Notes On a list page, you can change the owner for several records in one go. Change status Change status Use statuses to keep track of the progress on and state of the solution you work on. You can assign these statuses: Open: Work on this record is in progress and anyone can edit it.Waiting: The record is editable, but work cannot proceed due to missing information.Review: The record is still editable but ready for review.Completed: The record is completed, and you cannot edit it. You can change the status, for example, to make a change to the record.Canceled: The record is obsolete or due to be deleted, you can reopen or delete it. For requirements, you can also use these additional statuses: Requested: The requirement is defined but not yet approved.Approved: The requirement is approved but work is not yet started.Test: The requirement is implemented and is ready to be tested. For translations, the: Canceled status is not available.Redo status is added: The translation must be reviewed because the reference text is changed. Click Activities. 3. In the list, mark the selected row. 4. Click Status. 5. Click a status. 6. Close the page. Notes If the status is Released, you cannot edit the record nor change its status. If a change is required, you can copy the record (if the copy function is available). The Released status is assigned automatically if you release a solution. Start Start Monitor record history Monitor record history Each status change or ownership change is logged in the record history. Also scope or gap/fit decisions are logged in the record history. As a result, you can easily track the progress and development of the record. Procedure 1. Click Business process management. 2. In the list, find and select the desired record. 3. Click the Change history tab. 4. In the list, find and select the desired record. 5. Click View changed record. 6. Close the page. To trainee module elements and trainee exercises, you can assign these statuses:
  • Created: The module or exercise is assigned to a trainee.
  • Scheduled: The trainee module or trainee exercise is scheduled  to be done by the trainee.
  • Started: The trainee started the trainee module or trainee exercise.
  • Completed: The trainee completed the trainee module or trainee exercise.
  • Skipped: the trainee skipped the trainee module or trainee exercise.

Monitor record history

User

Each status change or ownership change is logged in the record history. Also scope or gap/fit decisions are logged in the record history. As a result, you can easily track the progress and development of the record.
