You can create a project quotation with a work breakdown structure. You can add an indirect cost plan to a project quotation and generate the indirect costs for it. This structure contains tasks and estimations, which can be turned into quotation lines. It is important to remember to populate the required financial dimensions so that Government contracting solution calculates the indirect cost allocation correctly. Standard procedure

1. Go to Project management and accounting > Quotations > Project quotations.
2. Click New.
3. In the Customer account field, enter or select a value.
4. Click OK.
5. On the Action Pane, click Quote.
6. Click Indirect cost plan.
7. Click Apply Indirect Cost Plan to open the drop dialog.
8. In the Indirect cost plan field, enter or select a value.
 

Note: You can add provisional rates, following the same steps as in the project contract. You can edit the ceiling rates but not the ceiling limits.

9. Click OK.
10. Click Save.
11. Close the page.
12. On the Action Pane, click Project quotation.
13. Click Work breakdown structure.
14. Click New.
15. In the Task name field, type a value.
16. In the View field, select an option.
17. In the list, mark the selected row.
18. Click New.
19. In the list, mark the selected row.
20. In the Transaction type field, select an option.
21. In the Quantity field, enter a number.
22. Click Financial dimensions.
23. Enter or select the financial dimensions as required.
24. Click OK.
25. Click Save.
26. Close the page.
27. Click Generate.
28. Click Create quotation lines from WBS.
29. On the Action Pane, click Quote.
30. Click Generate indirect costs.
 

Note: As a result, the indirect costs are calculated and allocated. You can review the allocated indirect costs on the Project quotation lines page, in the Line details section. You can review the details on the work breakdown structure.

31. Click Save.
