You can use a project quotation to document your proposal values within D365 FO. A project quotation might include the items and services that are quoted, basic contact information, special trade agreements and discounts, and possible taxes and surcharges. You can include estimates of indirect costs to get the full picture of expected costs for the project quotation. For more information, refer to Project quotations.

Click Indirect cost plan. 7. Click Apply Indirect Cost Plan to open the drop dialog. 8. In the Indirect cost plan field, enter or select a value. Note: You can add provisional rates, following the same steps as in the project contract. You can edit the ceiling rates but not the ceiling limits. 9. Click OK. 10. Click Save. 11. Close the page. 12. Click Add line. 13. In the list, mark the selected row. 14. In the Transaction type field, select an option. 15. In the Project category field, enter or select a value. 16. In the Quantity field, enter a number. 17. In the Unit price field, enter a number. 18. Click the Financial dimensions tab. 19. Enter or select all required dimensions. 20. Click Generate indirect costs. Note: As a result, the indirect costs are calculated and allocated. You can review the allocated indirect costs on the Project quotation lines page, in the Line details section. You can review the details on the work breakdown structure. 21. Click Save. Transfer project quotation to project Transfer project quotation to project If a quotation is marked as sent and confirmed, convert it to a project. Follow the standard wizard prompts to transfer your quotation to a project. Procedure 1. Go to Project management and accounting > Quotations > Project quotations. 2. In the list, click the link in the selected row. 3. Click Send quotation. 4. Click OK. 5. On the Action Pane, click Follow up. 6. Click Confirm. 7. Click OK. 8. Click Transfer to project and finish the wizard.
