You can use a WBS for a project. If you do so, make sure for each WBS line that the relevant financial dimensions are filled in properly. This is required to correctly calculate the indirect cost allocation.


Standard procedure

1. Go to Project management and accounting > Projects > All projects.
2. In the list, find and select your project.
3. On the Action Pane, click Plan.
4. Click Work breakdown structure.
5. Click New.
6. In the list, mark the selected row.
7. In the Task name field, type a value.
8. In the Effort in hours field, enter a number.
9. In the Task end date field, enter a date.
10. In the View field, select an option.
11. In the list, find and select the desired record.
12. Click Financial dimensions.
13. Enter all required financial dimensions.
14. Click OK.
15. Click Save.
16. Click Publish.
