You can use end-user guidance to:

  • Indicate which processes and activities are applicable to the user. To do so, assign solutions to company accounts or specific users. Based on the role and position setup, the relevant processes for the user are searched for in the defined solutions.
  • Give user-specific guidance on forms. To do so, define which forms must provide dynamic end-user guidance based on the solution context.

Prerequisites

Before you can set up the end-user guidance, you need a solution with:

  • Business processes. For these business processes at least flows with activities must be defined with a proper role assignment.
  • An organization. For this organization, at least positions must be defined in which roles are linked to persons. Each person must be linked to a D365 FO user on the People form.
