In project management, you can use a work package to combine related tasks. You can combine tasks in work packages based on, for example, geographical area, engineering discipline, technology, or the time budget.

In RapidValue, use work packages to combine business process requirements in one work item in Azure DevOps.


Standard procedure

1. Click Business process implementation.
2. Click Work packages.
3. Click New.
4. Define a descriptive name for the work package that indicates the type of work to be included.
  In the Work package field, type a value.
5. A work package is solution specific. On creation, by default, it is linked to the current active solution. You can change the default solution.
  In the Solution field, enter or select a value.
6. Enter a description of the work to be included in the work package.
7. Close the page.
8. Close the page.
