If you have recorded a procedure activity for a scenario, the steps of the procedure activity cover several activities of the related flow. You can link procedure activity steps to the relevant flow activities.
| 1. | Click Business process modeling. |
| 2. | Click the Business processes tab. |
| 3. | Click Edit hierarchy. |
| 4. | In the tree, select 'a node of type Scenario, with a procedure activity assigned, and which steps are already recorded'. |
| 5. | Click the Procedure tab. |
| 6. | Click Link sub activities. |
| 7. | On the left pane, in the list, find and select the steps to which you want to link a sub activity. |
| 8. | On the Flow activities tab, select an activity of the shown flow. |

Note: Wait till the selected activity is highlighted before you proceed with the next step. |

| 9. | Click Link sub activity. |
| 10. | Click Close. |
An activity can be linked as sub activity to steps of a procedure activity. If so, on the Manage sub activities dialog, on the Activities tab, in the lower part of the preview, the activities and steps are shown to which the activity is linked as sub activity.
