Set up the organization structure of a typical target company for your solution.

You can use organizations as defined in the Organization administration module or create organizations in RapidValue.


Standard procedure

1. Click Business process modeling.
2. Click the Organizations tab.
3. Click Edit hierarchy.
4. Click Add.
5. Sub-task: Add organizations from Organization administration.
  5.1 To set up the organization structure, you can use organizations as defined in the Organization administration module. These organizations do not have an area definition which is required in RapidValue. Therefore, define the area to which the organizations apply.
  On the Organizations tab, in the Area field, enter or select a value.
  5.2 In the list, find and select the desired organizations.
6. Sub-task: Add RapidValue organization.
  6.1 To set up the organization structure, you can create an organization in RapidValue.
  Click the New tab.
 

Note: You either select organizations from the Organization administration module or create an organization in RapidValue. You cannot do both in one go.

  6.2 In the OrganizationId field, type a value.
  6.3 In the Description field, type a value.
  6.4 In the Area field, enter or select a value.
  6.5 The organization types that you can use, match with the organization types that are used in the Organization administration module. You can use these types of organizations to define the organization structure:
- Business
- Legal entity
- Department
- Operating unit
- Team
  In the Type field, select an option.
7. Click OK.
