The data steward of the source company can start a discussion on the created master record change request. The discussion is shown in the Discussion section of the Master record change request page.

This topic explains how to enter a response to the source company data steward.


Standard procedure

1. Click Master data management - Inbox.
2. Click the Change requests tab.
3. In the list, find and select the desired record.
4. Click Edit.
5. In the Discussion section, read the response from the source company data steward.
  In the 'Your notes' text box, type your response.
6. Click Save.
 

Note:
- As a result, the description, as entered in the 'Your notes' text box, is added to the Discussion section.
- Each time you click Save, the current content of the 'Your notes' text box is added as a new entry to the Discussion section!

7. Close the page.
