In the target company, a change request can be created for a master data record.

As a data steward of the source company, monitor the master record change requests in the source company.
You can start a discussion with the user who created the change request in the target company.
When the required changes are clear and agreed upon, as a next action, you can start making the changes.


Standard procedure

1. Click Master data management - Operation.
2. Click the All change requests tab.
3. In the list, find and select the desired record.
4. Click Edit.
5. Sub-task: Filter the change requests.
  5.1 Use the filter fields at the top of the page to filter the change requests.
  Select an option in the Only assigned to me field.
  5.2 In the Status field, select an option.
  5.3 In the Period field, select an option.
6. Sub-task: View and discuss change request.
  6.1 On the Master record change requests section, in the list, find and select the desired record.
  6.2 In the Discussion section, read the request as entered by the requester of the target company.
  Expand the Discussion section.
  6.3 You can start a discussion with or enter a response to the requester of the target company.
  In the 'Your notes' text box, type your question or response.
  6.4 Click Save.
 

Note:
- As a result, the description, as entered in the 'Your notes' text box, is added to the Discussion section.
- Each time you click Save, the current content of the 'Your notes' text box is added as a new entry to the Discussion section!

7. Close the page.
