With MDM studio you can manage master data. For a master data record, you can edit the:
1. | Click Master data management - Operation. |
2. | Click the Master data tab. |
3. | Sub-task: Change master data record status to 'Modify'. |
3.1 | On the Master data tab, in the list, find and select the desired master data record. |
3.2 | Click Status. |
3.3 | Click Modify. |
4. | On the Master data tab, in the list, click the link of the desired master data record. |
5. | Click Edit. |
6. | Sub-task: Change responsible data steward. |
6.1 | In the General section, in the Data stewards field, enter or select a value. |

Note: You can only select a data steward that is defined for the current company. |
7. | Sub-task: Change subscribed target companies. |
7.1 | Expand the Subscription section. |
7.2 | You can add a target company that is subscribed to the master data record. The next time the master data record is sent, it is also sent to the new subscribed company. |
  | Click New and fill in the fields. |

7.3 | You can undo a subscription of a company. |
  | In the list, select the desired company. |
7.4 | Click Delete. |
7.5 | You can change the subscription status. For example, when a master data record is pulled from a source company, a subscription is added. You can change the status of the added subscription. |
  | In the list, select the desired company. |
7.6 | Click Status, and click the desired next status. |

Note: If you change the master data record status, the subscription status is changed accordingly. |
8. | Sub-task: Change related D365 FO record. |
8.1 | You can edit the D365 FO record that is related to the master data record. |
  | On the Action Pane, click Available record. |
8.2 | Click View details. |

Note: If a dialog is shown instead of the record details, you can access the related record details page via, for example, the applicable menu or workspace. |
8.3 | Click Edit and make the desired changes to the record. |
8.4 | Close the page. |
