Setup rental type |
A rental type is a group of rental items that have similar characteristics when rent out to customers. The process defines the creation of the rental types. |
Create business object |
For each physical object that can be rented or serviced, a business object is required. You link a business object to a product. Depending on the business needs, you can also link a business object to a fixed asset. A business object can be: · Serialized: Create a unique business object for each piece of equipment with a serial number attached to it. For example: a photocopier machine or an aerial working platform. · Bulk: Create a bulk business object for non-serialized assets. These assets are usually purchased in bulk quantities and stored in your inventory and on fixed asset level. For example: scaffolding pipes or computer cables. |
