To monitor project versions, on the Projects page, you can show the project version:

  • Status
  • History log
  • Files


Standard procedure

1. Go to Connectivity studio > Common > Projects.
2. In the list, find and select the desired project.
3. On the Action Pane, click Deploy.
4. Sub-task: Show project version status.
  4.1 You can show the version status of the selected project as an info message in the Message bar.
The message shows:
- If the project is checked in or checked out.
- If checked out, in which environment the project is checked out.
- The current version of the selected project.
- The latest project version.
  Click Show status.
5. Sub-task: Show project version history log.
  5.1 You can show the project version change log history in a dialog.
For each checked-in project version, the dialog shows the:
- Version number
- Check-in date of the version.
- User who checked in the version.
- Environment from which the version is checked in.
- The description that is entered during check-in. This can be, for example, a list of the changes made to the project version.
  Click Show log.
  5.2 Click Close.
6. Sub-task: Show project version files.
  6.1 Each project version is stored as a file in the file storage folder as defined in the Connectivity studio parameters.
You can view the project version files in the file explorer.
  Click View stored files.
  6.2 You can view the contents of a project version file.
  In the list, find and select the desired file.
  6.3 Click Open File.
  6.4 Click OK.
  6.5 Click OK.
7. Close the page.
