Set the parameters that apply to the picking process of the Anywhere for rental app.


Standard procedure

1. Click Mobility management.
2. Click Anywhere app parameters.
3. Click the Rental tab.
4. Expand the Picking section.
5. You can allow to scan a sales (non-rental) item with a specified location.
  Select Yes in the Scan location field.
6. You can allow to scan items.
  Select Yes in the Scan item field.
7. You can allow to scan a sales (non-rental) item with a specified batch.
  Select Yes in the Scan batch field.
8. You can define if and how the picked quantity is checked.
  In the Picked quantity check field, select an option.
9. As Anywhere for rental does not support reservations, this field must be set to No.
  Select No in the Reserve picking list when selected field.
10. You can allow to use the unit from the scanned GTIN to pick the items. On finishing the picking, the inventory unit is converted to the GTIN unit in the ‘Picking’ process. Example: 100 pieces are to be picked. These are physically stored in 10 boxes, each with 10 pieces. On picking, you can scan the 10 boxes. On finish picking, these are booked from inventory as 100 pieces.
  Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field.
11. You can allow to enter a note when the picking list is finished. The note is added to the sales order as an attachment.
  Select Yes in the Enter note field.
 

Note: To activate notes, also fill in the Note type field.

12. Select the note type to be added as a sales order attachment.
  In the Note type field, enter or select a value.
 

Note: To activate notes, also select Yes in the Enter note field.

13. You can prefill the supposed picked quantity for an item. This quantity is derived from the number of item units that was previously scanned.
  Select Yes in the Prefill picked quantity field.
14. For GS1-128 type barcodes, the batch ID can be part of the barcode. If you scan a GS1-128 type barcode in the Picking process, you can have the batch ID entered automatically from the barcode.
If 'No', the batch ID must be entered manually.
  Select Yes in the Get batch number from GS1-128 barcode field.
15. For GS1-128 type barcodes, the serial number can be part of the barcode. If you scan a GS1-128 type barcode in the Picking process, you can have the serial number entered automatically from the barcode.
If 'No', the serial number must be entered manually.
  Select Yes in the Get serial number from GS1-128 barcode field.
16. You can enter the maximum number of order lines that can be displayed in A4R.
  In the Maximum number of items in search field, enter a number.
17. You can allow warehouse workers to change the serial number during picking. So, it is allowed to scan another serial number than the one on the picking list. You can scan another serial number for any reason. For example, the item with the serial number of the picking list is damaged.
  Select Yes in the Change serial number on picking field.
18. Define the printer type to print packing slips in the 'Picking' process.
  In the Packing slip printer type field, enter or select a value.
 

Note: A packing slip is only printed:
- If a default printer is set up for the defined printer type, with the applicable warehouse and user defined for the default printer.
- If a printer type is defined in this field.

19. You can allow multiple users to pick the same picking route. As a result, multiple users can log in to the same picking route and do the picking simultaneously.
  Select Yes in the Multi-user picking field.
