You can set up a readiness check to link a questionnaire. This questionnaire must be filled in during the readiness control procedure. 

Prerequisite: Set up a questionnaire in the Questionnaire module. Make sure the persons or teams who must fill in the checklist, are defined in the Questionnaire module.


Standard procedure

1. Go to Product engineering > Setup > Engineering product type.
2. In the left pane, find and select the desired engineering product type.
3. In the Readiness control section, click Add checklist.
4. Choose the module to which this checklist refers.
  In the Module field, select an option.
5. In the Name field, type a value.
6. In the Free text field, type a value.
7. Choose whether you want this readiness check to apply on a released product, released variant or engineering version.
  In the Apply check on field, select an option.
8. In the Company accounts ID field, select which company this readiness check should be executed in.
  In the Company accounts ID field, enter or select a value.
9. Choose the whether the owner of the readiness check is a person or a team.
  In the Owner type field, select an option.
 

Note: If a different person or team tries to execute the readiness check, a warning will pop up that says they are not the owner. However, this does not block them. The readiness check can still be executed.

10. Choose the person or team that owns this readiness check.
  In the Name field, enter or select a value.
11. Choose which checklist must be executed.
  In the Questionnaire field, enter or select a value.
12. Decide whether automatic approval should be done. If this box is checked: The readiness check is automatically approved upon completion. If this box remains unchecked: The readiness check must be (separately) approved after completion.
13. Decide whether the readiness check is mandatory or not. If the box is checked: The readiness check cannot be skipped. If the box remains unchecked: The readiness check can be skipped.
14. Close the page.
