If you have set up an inbound definition, you can test it.

To test an inbound definition, first make sure a test file is available in the Working folder as defined by the connector of the inbound definition.

Procedure 1. Click Connectivity studio EDI integration design. 2. Click Projects. 3. On the Action Pane, click Design. 4. Click Inbound definition. 5. In the list, find and select the desired inbound definition. 6. On the Action Pane, click Inbound definition. 7. Click Upload to Work. 8. Click Select configuration to browse for and select the desired file. 9. Click OK. During the test, these checks are done: Is the selected test file found? Or if no test file is defined, are the files in the general storage location found? Is a matching file distribution definition found in the selected inbound definition? Or if no inbound definition is selected, is a matching file distribution definition found in any of the inbound definitions? The test result is shown in an info message. In the Inbound definition field, enter or select the desired inbound definition. 10. In the File name field, enter or select a value. 11. Click OK.
