Before you start using the EDI Delfor journal, set up the EDI Delfor parameters.
| 1. | Go to EDI > Setup > EDI Delfor Parameters. |
| 2. | When a packing slip is posted for a delivery forecast sales order, on the EDI Delfor sales information, the Cumulative quantity received is updated. You can only use these cumulative quantity-related validation rules if 'Use cumulative schedule' is set to 'Yes': - BisEdiDelforCheckCumulativeQtyCalcResetDate - BisEdiDelforCheckCumulativeQtyReceived |

| 3. | You can define the minimum number of days, after a new delivery forecast is imported, in which the customer is allowed to make changes to an existing sales order line in the EDI Delfor journal. This is only used if the BisEdiDelforCheckQtyValidation validation rule is applied. |

Note: If the BisEdiDelforCheckQtyValidation validation rule is applicable, you can change the line values on the EDI Delfor journal. However, during validation, the changes give an error or warning, and the EDI Delfor journal line is rejected. |

| 4. | You can show the EDI Delfor sales information on the Sales orders page. If you do so, the Delfor section is added to the Sales order header. |

| 5. | You can block delivery forecast sales order line changes if a related EDI Delfor journal exists. If Prevent sales order lines changes is set to Yes, on the sales orders page, you cannot change these fields: - Item - Quantity - Requested receipt date |

| 6. | An imported delivery forecast can have several sales orders. So, the resulting EDI Delfor journal also has several sales orders. By default, for each sales order, a separate record is shown on the EDI Delfor journal list page. You can limit the number of records shown on the EDI Delfor list page. If you set 'Show journal summary' to 'Yes', only one record is shown for each EDI Delfor journal. If the journal has several sales orders, only the information of the first sales order is shown on the EDI Delfor journal list page. On the EDI Delfor journal details page, you can view all sales orders of the EDI Delfor journal. |
