You can initialize a form mapping from an existing message. As a result, the record mapping and field mapping of the message are translated to a form mapping.
You can do this, for example, to bridge the gap between functional users and technical users.
1. | Click Connectivity studio Integration Design. |
2. | On the Message tab, in the list, find and select the desired message. |
3. | Click Edit. |
4. | Click Initialize from message mapping. |
5. | Define the form that is related to the tables of the message mapping. The form mapping is created for this form and uses the data sources and tables linked to this form. |
  | In the Form name field, enter or select a value. |
  |
Note: Without a form defined, the form mapping can not be created. |
6. | If a form mapping exists for the message, you can have it deleted before you create a new form mapping based on the message mapping. |
  | Select Yes in the Clean up field. |
7. | Click OK. |
8. | Close the page. |
