In the DynaRent for D365 Sales main process, when you qualify a lead, an account is created. You can also directly create an account in DynaRent for D365 Sales.

You can edit:
  • An existing account in DynaRent for D365 Sales: For more information, refer to Manage account.
    In DynaRent for D365 Sales, an account is a company with which you (potentially) do business.
  • A D365 FO prospect that is related to an account in DynaRent for D365 Sales: For more information, refer to the steps of this topic.
    In D365 FO, a prospect is a company with which you potentially do business.
For accounts and prospects, a two-way synchronization is applied. If you edit:
  • An account in DynaRent for D365 Sales, the changes are synchronized to the related prospect in D365 FO.
  • A prospect in D365 FO, the changes are synchronized to the related account in DynaRent for D365 Sales.


Standard procedure

1. Sign in to DynaRent for D365 Sales.
2. In the Site map, click Accounts.
3. Select the desired account and on the command bar, click Edit.
4. You can edit the D365 FO prospect that is related to the selected account.
  On the command bar, click Open.
5. In D365 FO, edit the prospect.
6. When you are done editing the prospect, save the changes, and close the D365 FO tab of your browser. As a result, you automatically return to the related account page in DynaRent for D365 Sales.

Notes

In DynaRent for D365 Sales, for the account, you cannot edit the fields on the Rental tab. You can only edit these fields in D365 FO, on the Prospects page, on the Rental tab.
