Set the parameters that define how to manage production picking with the Anywhere for logistics app.

Standard procedure

1. Click Mobility management.
2. Click App Parameters.
3. Click the Logistics tab.
4. Expand the Production section.
5. You can allow to use the unit from the scanned GTIN to pick the items. On finishing the picking, the inventory unit is converted to the GTIN unit in the ‘Production Picking’ process. Example: 100 pieces are to be picked. These are physically stored in 10 boxes, each with 10 pieces. On picking, you can scan the 10 boxes. On finish picking, these are booked from inventory as 100 pieces.
Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field.
6. You can have the quantities from the picking list prefilled in the ‘Production Picking’ process.
Select Yes in the Prefill picked quantity field.
7. Usually, specific batches or serial numbers are reserved in production picking. You can allow to pick other batches or serial numbers.
Select Yes in the Allow override Batch/Serial field.
8. You can allow to cancel the quantity that you did not pick.
Example: For a BOM, a quantity is scheduled to be consumed of 100 liters. However, you only needed and picked 97 liters. As a result, in the production picking process, you get the option to cancel the not-picked quantity.
Select Yes in the Allow end-mark picking list field.
9. For GS1-128 type barcodes, the batch ID can be part of the barcode. If you scan a GS1-128 type barcode in the Production picking process, you can have the batch ID entered automatically from the barcode.
If 'No', the batch ID must be entered manually.
Select Yes in the Get batch number from GS1-128 barcode field.
10. For GS1-128 type barcodes, the serial number can be part of the barcode. If you scan a GS1-128 type barcode in the Production picking process, you can have the serial number entered automatically from the barcode.
If 'No', the serial number must be entered manually.
Select Yes in the Get serial number from GS1-128 barcode field.
11. Close the page.
