Update integration journal

When the integration journal is published to the advanced WBS, you can change the bid values and bid rates in the advanced WBS.

You can update these changes to the integration journal to keep the bid rates and bid values intact.

In this case, the locked bid ratio is used to calculate the new bid value.You can unlock the bid rate. To do so, on the Advanced WBS page, on the calculation fast tab, clear the Lock bid rate check box. Procedure 1. Click Advanced project management. 2. Click Project quotation. 3. In the list, click the link in the selected row. 4. Click Advanced WBS. 5. Click Edit. 6. Select an activity. 7. Click the Calculation tab. 8. In the Bid value field, enter a number. 9. In the Bid rate field, enter a number. 10. Click Save. 11. Usually, you run the WBS calculation for the whole WBS. To do so, select the root node (project) of the WBS. You can run the WBS calculation for another node. 12. Click Run WBS Calculation. 13. Click Save & Close. WBS calculation updates the bid rate and bid value for each task.


The relevant calculations are:

  • Bid value = Calculated value + Contingency + Index
