Set up project categories based on the shared categories. Make sure to select the category group that is used for equipment.


Standard procedure

1. Go to Project management and accounting > Setup > Categories > Project categories.
2. Click New.
3. In the Category ID field, enter or select a value.
 

Note: Select the shared category you created for equipment.

4. In the Category group field, enter or select a value.
 

Note: Select the equipment category group.

5. Select Yes in the Active in journals field.
6. In the Default line property field, enter or select a value.
7. Click Save.
